We are pleased to announce that the Beyond Postmemory Research Group (POSTLIT) is hosting a research seminar on environmental postmemory in contemporary Anglophone literature, titled ‘Nature Remembers: War Trauma and Environmental Postmemory’. The event will take place next Friday, 24th October, at the Sala de Graus (Facultat de Filosofia i Lletres, UAB).

by Hugo Palomino (left) and Cristina Franco (right)The seminar will feature presentations by research group members, who will explore a diverse range of literary and cultural texts, rethinking memory through bodies, landscapes, and temporalities damaged by war, and revealing the critical role of literature in culture as a means of bearing witness to trauma beyond the human.
